Haiya, the moment i saw this, now i am unable to "unsee" it. Having owned a few Seikos ranging from JDM and Limited Edition models, now what i do not have is GMT function. Just nice this not only met with my own requirement of being a GMT and gold bezel, it is also using the latest Automatic 3 days engine from Seiko. Hence it is seriously the latest modern technology with 1968 heritage diver elements. Further checks that this is also a limited edition piece. Ranging around SGD$2800. Think first....

Rude Passenger for Private Hire

Yeah i agree that this particular passenger is indeed rude. But not saying all passenger are like this and all private hire are good too. I also takes private hire very often due to work, i also had some bad experience with private hire drivers. For example, accepting my job at 10am, then waited for 15 mins, still at same location. Then when i text him at 10.18am, after 5 mins, he cancel my job without any reason. Then i wasted the damn 23 mins. Isn't that making anyone angry??? But for this case, the passenger need not make this kind of remarks also lah.

[A&W] 1 For 1 Root Beer Float

Realized A&W always had special promotion for 1 for 1 Root Beer Float. Got to admit that their Root Beer Float is the best. Even the A&W Can drink can beat this dispensed from the tap. Its also the only beer that children can drink. However, their menu are kind of expensive. Two sets can easily costs $30+. But i usually eat their fried chicken rather than the other food menu. Probably need to look for their same day same month promotion monthly.

SoundCore Select 4 Go

I was not expected of such speaker at this price point to be impressive, BUT it is really IMPRESSIVE ! It had a very good bass. Tested all type of music, social media and playing of games, the sound brought out with very good clarity and good bass. Although i don't dare to test waterproof, my daughter throw this speaker on the floor from sofa level and didn't have a scratch. Battery life so far so good. Charging is easy as well. Can't wait to do more testing from outdoor. So far the indoor experience is good.

Bras Basah Kopitiam Price :/

I think i ever talked about this kopitiam before and despite the high price, i rarely come back here unless there is no choice. As i worked nearby this area, i sometimes came to this kopitiam to meet my ex colleague or simply drank kopi there. The price which is well known to be expensive had been causing some controversary again. Typically this stall owner thinks that charging kopi and tea regardless of whether have milk or no milk, should be the same price for ease of calcuation. But its kind of ridiculous lah. It is actually quite expensive in this area as compared to other kopitiam there and kopi isn't top notch also. But what i can say is the public can say what they like, ultimately still the owner determine the price. 

Madam Kwan Restaurant at Mid Valley South Key

Came to have dinner at Mid Valley South Key for Madam Kwan Restaurant. The place is clean and service is not bad. Tried their speciality platter, Noodles, some special drink, Bandung and Nasi Lemak. I got to say some wasn't good and some was good. But their menu have many dishes, so can't try all. Overall was ok, but other than the pricier side, the curry chicken was a little heavy on the coconut side.

Best to travel is to bring only a few useful cards and always keep your belongings in check, the moment which card is missing, immediately report to the respective banks to block them regardless of overseas or local shores. Of course while in Flight, cannot do much. So the above seem that the owner isn't aware until a given time to realise it. Enough time for the thief to spend it as much as its able to. Always treat your belonging, cash and credit card close and secure !

No matter how Malaysians boycott McDonald in Malaysia, i will still support McDonald in both Malaysia and Singapore. I support the food, and not the Political problem. If Malaysia made its own, but copied Mcdonald's style, then i wonder how US will see this. Time to see how the people react on this. But again if they replicate one, i will definitely try. 😆

Molly Tea First Outlet in Singapore

Shenzhen-based tea chain, Molly Tea will be opening their first outlet in Singapore at Orchard Central in 2026. Basically is just jasmine tea or matcha which is pretty common here. But only exception is they are claiming that theirs is the top notch and popular one. Not sure, but gotta try once they open. Will probably give it a try when i go around the area.

Gosh ! This is really silly. What if the person have no social media account, then how? I mean not everyone might be truthful anyways. Most of the stuffs might be personal also but i felt that this is way overboard. Doubt i will ever make a trip there in the US anyways. 😒

Really love this Expert's addition to further strengthen our farming and troops. All quests are doable with certain limitation, but still good for F2P players. The paying portion, i felt isn't as good as it is, but still beneficial to players. Better save the money for other.

Apple Foldable will shake up the market?

Well, i got to disagree on this as the economy is pretty bad and this is going to cost two arms. I wonder how people are going to afford, unless Apple can priced this the same as the regular iPhone price at this stage. Hence, i don't think it will shake up the market at all. Just pretty innovation and people who like branded stuffs, will get them.

New Postage Rates in 2026

Sometimes i wonder besides our regular postage to send to people. If our bank letters sent to us, when Singpost raise the cost, will other cost raised up also just because they send us using local postage. I mean like above only indicate domestic mail with effect on 1st Jan 2026. Nowadays not much people sending via Singpost postage too anyways.

Haha basically its part of a marketing gimmicks and just nice Prism had been paying much money to marketing. I personally tried their Prism Fan and its much worst than other traditional fan's brand. Kind of regretted it, but largely because it is much cheaper. Hence i had not been trying all of their products. But of course, each to their own. Just buy according to your expectation.

Singapore Flyer Year End Family Bundle

Finally Singapore Flyer released the local Year End Family Bundle. So it is typically $80 for 2 adults and 1 child. Ticket holder must present NRIC and this is only available from 14 Nov 2025 to 4th Jan 2026. Although i had experienced this before many years ago, i want to bring my daughter to experience this. $80 is still steep, but at least it is still discounted as compared to the full price. 

No permits for Singaporean express buses in Malaysia

Haha now Malaysia Transport Minister also said that Singapore Tour Buses cannot run express services in Malaysia. Each country to their own. Unfortunately, these trends will extend as the next generations seems to be more protective and care for their own benefits instead of mutual benefits.

I'm back to Blanco Court Prawn Mee at Beach Road. My base order for the Pork Ribs Noodle is $7. Add noodle at $0.50, make it enough to fill your stomach. Also got my favourite fried crackers with the pink sauce. Now there is a person to reserve your table. The yellow noodle got a heavy alkaline taste. But overall, i give it a 6/10 as the soup have to be heavier.

New Ferry Route From Singapore To Gold Coast Bengkong

Yay ! Instead of Batam Centre, now there is another ferry route from Singapore straight to Bengkong which is close to all the tourist sites like the zoo, beach park, hotels, malls and many more. Round trip per pax will cost $76. But still expensive considered back in the past, this amount will include round trip ferry tickets, hotel stay and leisure bus tours. I mean, it is still an alternative for people who wants to visit Indonesia. 

Perodua QV-E [NEW]

Wow, Perodua is finally releasing their very own Malaysia's First Homegrown EV, Perodua QV-E. The launch price is RM80,000 without insurance and battery. It seems that they will be providing Battery as a Service. Haha they followed Cloud terminology. Battery costs RM275 per month. But one need to factor in that charging the battery is also additional cost like pumping petrol. Well, think its better to let more people do "trial" before thinking about riding it.

Usually people won't say it so explictly about such sensitive issues. But well, though US had been helping partially, but all are through fair and mutual benefits. From the start, we all know that this guy is useless and its probably a yes man, nothing more and nothing less. Let's hope that after the US Presidency's expiry, trust and mutual benefits will restore for both Singapore and USA.

As i last mentioned on 23 Nov, i listened to several advice that copper will not rise up even in a decade later. However, there are more and more positive news on Copper shortage. But i still feel that thats part of a spectulation. Perhaps i should start accumulation of this precious metal, but in a very small quantity. Will make my move in Dec 2025.

Universal Studio Singapore Roller Coaster Stuck :/

Wonder whats the cause of this, but fortunately no one is injured or die. But to me, i am not a believer of riding roller coaster. Even how safe Singapore is. To add to the problem, heavy rain also comes. Wonder if the rider will demand for any compensation. But who knows, they might just increase the tickets fee to solve the maintenance problem. 🤨

Had been waiting for this voucher for a long time since i ROD early this year. $100 isn't much and isn't less, but it really depends on whether you are going to get the high end watch or not. The moment i see such topic, one thing that came to my mind is the younger generations. 😅 In short, i think all these are not necessary. Most important is the salary. I believed the polls are targetted to those in the 2000s+ babies. I really their pattern wanting such benefits. Not that it is not good, but the foreigners can do without these easily. In fact, i had been in office even during the covid days. My job is not "Work from home" material and have to do Saturday and sunday once a month. So i am well prepared without these entitled perks !

iSLURP Apple Juice Machine at Clarke Quay

Came across several apple juice machine, but if there is a best apple juice machine, i will definitely recommend iSLURP Apple Juice Machine at Clarke Quay. So far, this is one of the best apple juice i have tasted from a apple dispensing machine. Not sure how many pieces of apple did they used, but it costs at SGD$3 per cup. Cup is also well designed and no separate straw output. It is all into one package. Hope to see this roll out to more places.

Golden Mile Thien Kee Steamboat Hainanese Restaurant | Chicken Rice

Came to visit Golden Mile Tower for Golden Mile Thien Kee Steamboat Hainanese Restaurant not for the steamboat, but for the famous chicken rice. The texture of the chicken is highly rated. Rice wise, i think is ok. Gave you a big bowl of soup which is good. Also ordered Ice Lemon Tea which is homemade. Generally, i saw people having the traditional steamboat for lunch and the place is still living in the late 1980s. But if i will rate this chicken rice, i will give it 7.5/10. They also provide ginger and chilli sauce.

Tension between China and Japan Part 3

Haha when Japan is getting hit with China rift, Singapore is quick to get the information where Singapore see new booking rise ! I believed this is so because myself had already booked my Japan flight with SIA for 2026 travel ! Well, although i am not attracted to any recent development, but it is already a bonus for me since Japanese yen had gone to the highest between SGD and Japanese Yen of 12,100 yen to 100 SGD. I had been changing for the past 4 years and currently had changed more to keep for my upcoming expenses.

Saw this at the store, it made me tempted to get but to be honest. It doesn't worth the value. Just like buying a regular toy where once bought, doesn't really worth any value. At 10 troy oz, it cost SGD$100, but it is actually worth at SGD$10 at actual value. So if anyone who buy this, it is like paying SGD$90 of premium. So unless you have extra money to burn, you can buy it lah. Hahaha although i will still not recommend it.

With the current tension, now Japanese yen hits the new high of SGD$1 to 120.3 yen. Its a relatively good rate that i had rarely seen. China is still threatening Japan and wants Japan PM to retract its word towards Taiwan and China. I wonder if Japanese PM will eventually retract the words due to China pressure.

With the current tension between Japan and China over the japanese's remark about China and Taiwan causes massive outroar with China telling its own citizens to not visit Japan. Now China even wants to ban all imports of Japanese seafood. But Taiwan president still shows support for Japan and had sushi lunch. This really anger China more and i wondered if war is brewing. 😔

Just as i was trying to ballot my Singapore Mint Year of the horse coin as it started today. The website is down. Tried other website like mothership also down. Then saw Straits Times reported that it is a widespread issue. Nowadays such thing quite common where we are reliant on several services. Too much dependency will break something here or there. Be it cloud or on-prem also will encounter problem, just a matter of how big or small the overall scale is.

Lotus's 3 in 1 Chocolate Malt Drink Original

Wanted to get Ovaltine or Horlicks 3 in 1 while groceries shopping at Lotus Supermarket at Bukit Indah. But giving Lotus's 3 in 1 Chocolate Malt Drink a try. Well, after trying it, i think it is okay. It is quite affordable as compared to the more branded one. But i think is drinkable. I would rate it as 5.5/10 if you are on a budget. It is still quite okay.

New Fish McNuggets

Tried the newly released Mcdonald Fish Nuggets. If there is one way to describe this, it is like filet O Fish patty but in nugget size. So taste is around there. I wouldn't say that this is better than the Chicken McNuggets, but each is good at its own. I love the fish nuggets. At the same time, they also provide thai mayo sauce. Taste just ok, but still prefer to go with standard mayo instead. But overall, i think this is good.

Entire Aussie capital city to be quarantined today !

Didnt expect that such pests can threaten Australia's agriculture business. I guess this is unique to Australia and the government is doing their best to quarantine the capital city from this. Hope they can overcome this crisis as it looks very serious.

Peppa Pig World Opening in Shanghai in 2027 !

Just came across that Peppa Pig world is coming to Shanghai in 2027. At least i don't need to make plans to visit Peppa Pig World at UK instead. It is in fact my daughter's favourite childhood cartoon and everytime wants to buy the toys if she sees outside. Maybe can plan one trip to Shanghai in 2027 😄

Quick Lunch at Amoy Street Hawker Center

Came to this crowded hawker center at Amoy Street. They are popular with office crowd during weekdays. I just get a vietnamese iced coffee and one of the fried chicken cutlet rice stall. It costs me less than $10 based on my selection. But it is way too hot to eat there. But the coffee was good and they have many stalls there.

Washing Machine Business prevents $1 coin from misuse...

Wah, is this even allowed? I know their intention is to prevent others from misuse to exchange note to coins using their coin exchange machine meant for the washing machines. However, i dont think it is right to draw X using marker on the legal tender coins. This is not good. Like what the comments said, they can likely adopt token instead of dollar coin. But actually there are many ways to solve this problem so that no need to provide change. Just use the widely known paynow to make payment.

New plant on Pulau Bukom making sustainable aviation fuel from 2028

I mean this is one of the important business which SIA for sure will need to buy fuel from. Other flight in the region can utilise it as well. As a air hub, aviation fuel is extremely important. I'm previously guarding the Singapore Fuel Farm from Exxon Mobil as well, so i know how important it is. Hope it bring people jobs as well and sustainable is the key !

SGD/MYR shows that Malaysia Ringgit is the strongest YTD

Singdollar fell to the lowest against the ringgit as of today. During the past year, many had been done from the Malaysia Government under Prime Minister Anwar and Johor King. Johor Bahru had been seen with the greatest improvement and activities throughout the year and hopefully be better in the coming years. No one knows whether it can be sustainable, but i think results will show in the coming months, especially ringgit will continue to be stronger in the coming months as well.

Isetan exits Singapore

Last Isetan outlet closes at Tampines Mall on 9 Nov 2025 marking the end of 30 years run. Another japanese departmental store exits Singapore market. Not sure if it is a good thing, but at least it affect people's choice of purchase. Not essential, but i think isetan have some good range of japanese products. But hope they can make a comeback after some time.

Unihertz Titan 2 Review Part 2

When i first powered up and doing the first time unboxing, i pasted the provided screen protector and put in the leather case. The screen protector had a line across the screen protector, hence 👎. Worst thing the screen is not responsive by touch. OMG. I had to plug in the USB C docking with mouse to go through the setup. After going through some online troubleshooting, realised there is an update om ghost touch issue, so updated but still cannot touch ! Then being fed up, i removed the screen protector and found out that it is working fine now. 😒

Received my brand new Unihertz Titan 2. Took about 2 to 3 months of preorder from Kickstarter from Hong Kong and receive the newly built device. Based on the specification, this device is well priced at least at the preorder price of SGD$385. At this price, you certainly can't get anything close to this spec.

Causal First Time to Punngol Coast

Well, the place have lots of potential and i think it is not fully occupied in regards to the retail or the F&B industries in the area for the general public. When i was there last Sunday, not much people are there. Perhaps weekdays have more people due to the busy work and school schedule. But i find that the hawker center choices were quite normal. Food prices were kind of expensive when i tried the Korean and the Bee Hoon stall as compared to other heartland. So let's see how they improve moving forward.

Kabaya Tough Gummy

Normally gummy are soft, but this is different. Got it from Don Don Donki for around $3.70 and its grape flavor. A little sweet, but taste good. It gave you different taste after you melt the outer layer and the satisifaction of biting it give you another experience.

Hao Lai Wei Fish Soup at Fortune Center

Tried this fish soup place where the lunch crowd will always be full. Basically they only offer this dish but with different food like rice, bee hoon, KOKA noodle or mian xian type to go with. They also give a free drink at different weekday. So $8 to me for this is just right. The fish is fresh and flavourful. Soup base is of scallop but no scallop inside. Rice is using the japanese type. Overall i will give a rating of 7.5/10.

This guy also one of the Malaysian Influencer had really became in deep trouble. Even if she is having heart attack, being the last guy and he mentioned to discuss work in the hotel is truly hard to believe. Best venue is always in office and with many people. 1 to 1 talk with another people in a private area is dangerous. If he is innocent, i hope he can clear his name.

Segamat Earthquake again at 7.55PM last night

Oh no. It isn't good when this happen quite frequently for such a short time. Furthermore it is right in the middle of Malaysia in Segamat. I doubt it is something that can be prevented in the name of nature. But i hope the government can think of a solution to help mitigate and bring the people to safety. Sometimes it could be something small now to become a big issue. Let's hope this is the last to happen.
