Halloween Event [WhiteOut Survival]

Oh yeah its halloween event now at WhiteOut Survival and it is my time to get some materials and the Marching Skin. This will be my first paid Marching Skin hence i will stop purchasing from Nov onwards. This is really a spending game and really take great effort to control and play the game well. But i think this is one of the better event to get the skins and materials similar to the boxing one. So happy farming all !

New HarbourFront Centre in 2031

Used to be at the World Trade Centre during my secondary school days in the 2000. Then it was changed to HarbourFront Centre in 2003. Now the plan is to convert into a 33 storey building. I mean the view will be impressive, but probably be owned or leased by some big organisation or companies in 2031. The area will also be accompanied with lots of public housing nearby the area. So many people will be there.

Proposed Elevated Autonomous Rapid Transit (R-ART) in Johor Bahru

Well this topic had been said for ages and there have been many reverse plans throughout a few years back. Now they are saying that they will roll out E-ART throughout JB and it is part of their Masterplan 2035. It is a very long time. But whatever it is, I still wish it would materialized as it benefit both locals and visitors across the country. JB itself is already very big and it will be good for the country to have such infrastructure. 

New Fish Nuggets from McDonald coming soon !

Wah another few days time, Mcdonald is releasing their New Fish Nuggets ! And i wish that it will be good and not too expensive. Actually just a few weeks back, they released new items, but like less than 2 weeks, here comes more new items. I wondered who is behind Mcdonald doing so many new products within a short period of time. I hope it will be good though. Can't wait to try coming saturday !

Old Samung J4 Force Data Wipe

Somehow resetting or to perform data wipe need to fill in google account and need network. But somehow the network despite using WiFi or Sim card also could not reset. Fortunately, the only last resort is to use hardware buttons to access to Android Recovery to force data wipe it. So that we can dispose or sell way old hardware. Nowadays old phones may not be able to connect to new WiFi standards, even newer 4G Sim card may have a problem also.

Singapore Airlines and Scoot having good discounts

As of now, both SIA and Scoot is having sales while it lasts or until all slots are being booked. Have took this opportunity to book my next flight already. The price is much better than regular times of booking. But one need to take note that if you select all the cheapest form of booking, it will not refund any cancellation. Need to pay extra for more perks. But SIA economy is already very good. So look forward to next flight !

ExxonMobil Retail Fuel Stations acquired by Indo based company

Aiyo, ExxonMobil's Singapore retail fuel stations will be acquired by Indonesia-based Chandra Asri. Seems that other countries are taking over businesses locally. Local employees will be cut due to many reasons. But fuel business will still be going on in Singapore for a very long time. 

New Mcdonald Affogato

Wow, Mcdonald seriously going all out to do many different types of food products. Now i can even have both my dessert and coffee in a cup where i only usually find these at the cafes. But need to know how much they are going to price this. Will try and review again whether it is good or bad. 🙄

Singapore Stockpile for Food

Yeah i agree that as a small country like Singapore need to stockpile several food products for unforeseen disruptions. We need to stockpile because of price control and because we do not produce most of the food products ourselves. Thats why trades are important. We need to have something that other countries need in order to ensure to have sustainable supplies. As a good citizen, we need to have less waste of food and supplies.

Note Everything Pro became subscription based

For using for more than a decade for this Note Everything and it is the PRO edition, the developers suddenly made a comeback to upgrade the app and now push out subscription based features for this app. Actually as a free app, this is already a very good note application to use other than Samsung Notes. Of course Samsung Notes is still the best note taking app that i ever used. 

Another Power Bank Fire On Flight

Sigh, people often spoil other people's joy. As China had already banned power bank on their own domestic flight except with CCC approved. Now for international flight incident from Hangzhou to South Korea having another power bank incident, i think any flight flying into or from China, China going to ban power bank on flight already. Sigh, really need to find out what brand and model of the power bank. As of now, international flight can bring power bank but banned from using or charging in flight.

A9 Noodle Dumpling at Fortune Center

Not the first time coming here to eat this. But what i can say that, ever since i eaten a few times last year, I came back for lunch as i had to work around Bugis for the next 3 months. The place is renovated. Now there are slightly a few more seats. Menus had changed a bit, but amazingly, the price is still the same. Quality of the noodle dumpling is good as usual too. I had a little too much, but it still cost me less than $10. The dumpling still goes well with the chilli. I might be coming here often to save some cash.

Toast Box Teh Ping XL at Bugis Junction

Aiyo, I ordered Teh Ping Big Takeaway from Toast Box Bugis, but the person can tell me Kopi Ping is it? 😓But this is their latest and biggest cup called XL size. Looks to me it is either same or smaller than Ya Kun big size. The bigger issue is that this costs $5.10 for a Teh Ping. Wow. Ya Kun have better deals and portion. In terms of taste, I think Ya Kun Teh Ping is better than Toast Box, but each to their own preference though. I felt that it is a little bit too expensive.

Level 7 Polar is released ! [WhiteOut Survival]

Yeah WhiteOut Survival just released level 7 Polar in my server, #3128. Tested to fight against it and successfully beaten it. Phew. Of course as of now, my troop level is Apex Infantry, FC1 Lancer and FC1 Marksmen. I think capacity and rally troops assistance plays a great part too. Based on the rewards, it is not too bad also, especially with the RSS and 15 minutes Troop speed up. Currently our major Alliance HQ is relocating and it somehow disrupt the flow of rally troop assistance till the next day to complete with the move.

New Law to penalise bus passengers who eat, drink or play loud videos on phone

Finally it takes Singapore to do such law to punish commuters for doing silly and irresponsible acts. But it is difficult to enforce lah. How loud is loud? One must have a figure to measure and determine. But even with evidence if such person who commit such acts, will the authority enforce or not. That will be subjective lah. Country like in China already had warning signs against people who do such acts. So hope those new citizens or bad apple citizens can abide to the rule or law !

Enlistment Office [WhiteOut Survival]

As i had just suffered a great loss due to sleeping during SVS, i lost 10% of my troops permanently and even my infirmary is full and flow towards Enlistment Office. Infirmary troops, i had used speed up to heal instantly, but Enlistment Office is the one that probably will make me take 1 to 2 weeks to fully enlist back to active troop. It is really a sad thing to let this happen, but got no choice but to wait patiently. Paying to get back faster is a greedy tactic by the developer. 😔 So yeah mistakes need to be learnt and not coming back to this again.

Kebuke at Sembawang Shopping Center

Came here for lunch at astons and after that, while waiting for our shuttle bus back home. Bought Kebuke again and saw them having Innisfree collaboration. But Innisfree isn't selling drinks. 😅 Anyway bought Jasmine Green Tea with Strawberry and Biscoff Black Tea Latte at medium size. Both costs more than $13 which i find it to be expensive. But wife want to drink so no choice. 😆

Malaysia Ringgit May strengthen to below RM4 per USD

As the article goes, there is a possibility and as of today, the ringgit is performing well at RM3.25 per SGD1.00. The current Malaysia government is indeed doing good work to improve the country. It is a good outcome and hope they can do even better and benefit not only the country but also the residents there.

Finally our alliance is Number 1 in #3128 [WhiteOut Survival]

Yeah it seems that our system works and shows other players that we have a good protocol to fight against other states. Hence other stronger players started to join our alliance. But unfortunately due to tireless especially after my flight, i felt tired through the SVS battle and went to sleep without shielding up my city. In the end, #3129 FRZ members teleported in to attack my bases multiple times causing my troops to die permanently. 🤬🤬🤬 I really felt on the verge of quitting the game when i woke up in the morning. Sigh. But let's see how.

Sun Castle Fight between State 3128 and State 3129

My state is #3128 and we are fighting against #3129. It is good to gain points, but it is sad that i lost too much power and troops because i slept without activating shield. Damn it is so sad and power is already hard to build. I will use this chance to mark FRZ from #3129 as my enemy for whacking my base. In the first place, i didnt even attack them. Damn !! 

All the trees are gone !! [WhiteOut Survival]

As the games goes, the island once it have completed all the trees harvesting, this TimberMill Building will appear to continue providing more DayBreak Island Resources. This is truly important as there are much buildings to be upgraded and require these resources. 

Latest Update: Can Mirror Queen Archer !!! [Clash Royale]

All along, I am unable to mirror Archer Queen as it is a hero. But with the latest update by Clash Royale, I am surprised that it is possible now ! And I had been playing for awhile using this combination. It is indeed powerful. The thing is when two archer queen is on the battlefield, only one that is launched later can activate the skill. But the best tactic is still activate skill, then launch another archer queen, you can activate the skill again. It is really a very powerful tactic and i hope they don't nerf further on this.

Nintendo Singapore Pte Ltd Established

Well, i not sure about now, perhaps they really starting to bring out the business as Japan market is not getting any better. Last time, when we did not have any Nintendo local presence, we used to have difficulty to buying both online and physical games as games were region locked. Now we no longer have such issue playing any game in any region. With Nintendo presence in Singapore, we should have better support or easy access to Nintendo device, games and technology faster and hopefully cheaper. It takes time to build up, but it is a good start for this japanese company.

Hundred Acre Creamery at Sembawang Shopping Center

Went to try this Hundred Acre Creamery at Sembawang Shopping Center using the free shuttle bus service from my doorstep to have some ice cream. As usual, we always tried the premium flavor, Pistachio and one coconut slush. So we ordered double which total up to $9.50. The good thing was they served us drinks as well. But in the end, don't really like the pistachio one and still prefer the coconut flavor. But generally, i think Hundred Acre Creamery is not bad. Recommend to try as they also had several branches elsewhere.

Mid-Autumn Festival 中秋节 Part 2

Because we paid $5 for each ticket for each person. We got the goodie bag, really a hand carried bag, one lantern each, and 3 boxes of Mooncakes ! Wow ! I think its really worth the money. I tried the mooncake and they even had Egg Yolk in it ! I guess it is sponsored by many organisation. My daughter love the mooncake also. But need to eat in moderation of course. 😁Happy Mid-Autumn Festival to all of you !

Mid-Autumn Festival 中秋节 Part 1

Haha i am proud of my daughter that she won third prize for being best dressed. She really love to play the lantern. Initially i am not confident that she will stand in line to queue and to go to the main stage to cat walk. But she did it without fear. I remembered when I was young, I am always stage fright. She went through it even there's lot of waiting. Might let her take part in more events in future.

Sun Castle Season 2 [WhiteOut Survival]

Haha at this point of writing, my overall power ranking of this state is 18th Place. Meaning top 18 player of this state. First time, I managed to call off a Rally to occupy this turret. Initially I do not want to join because i am busy and also the main reason was that I do not have much resources to prolong this battle. When I loses all my whole full capacity of troops, I am actually using my precious gems just to do the healing. But why i am doing this is just to fulfil the basic rewards of this Sun Castle. The charm materials are just too precious to pass by as well. So got to balance and weigh the importance of participating this event. But what i can say overall is, i had progressed well in this game and its hard to stop.

McDonald Yuan Yang Review

Chanced upon the new item from Mcdonald Singapore when i was having breakfast. Seems that they have Yuan Yang which is a mixture of both Coffee and Tea. Well i will recommend you just skip this and take just the 100% Tea or 100% Coffee will do. Not very nice as i think the Ya Kun version of Yuan Yang is so much better. Furthermore, Mcdonald is charging it so expensive for such quality. 😓 Suggest to just skip this.

Sushi Tei as a simple 13th Wedding Anniversary

Came to Sushi Tei as a small 13th Wedding Anniversary lunch. We had both the very same Hokkaido Pork Belly Shabu Shabu Hot pot for each of us and shared with our daughter. I think both the price and quality of the hotpot at Sushi Tei is still maintained good and consistent. We opt for Udon and Rice as well as extra egg and corn sushi. Environment is cosy and our hot green tea is refillable. Although we came Sushi tei for quite a number of times, but the quality still never failed me.

Force to resign? Seek recourse?

Well, this is a stressful and hard that it is better off to resign and move forward. If someone got the heart to make you resign, its going to be hard to prevent it. Your boss can simply give you bad grades even you met all the requirement of the job or even do extra work. What can you do if you kept getting bad increment and bonuses? But well the article here is about the extreme scenario of "forcing you to resign". So this is different from what i highlighted earlier and is much more worst. Then you can definitely seek recourse and gather as much evidence as possible. But then again, if you win, i wonder how to stay on with those idiots still giving you pressure. Hence the only way out is still get the payout and look for a better environment.

With all the smartphones' rage lately, there are lots of promising models from Mid Range and High End department. Today we are seeing just a leak that the next Poco F8 Ultra will be coming to the global market soon. Equipped with Snapdragon latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, this is a very powerful phone which Xiaomi 17 series is using the same chipset as well. China is indeed challenging the latest released Apple iPhone 17 series as well. Now to add on, this model is also going to be equip with a high end camera system also. Really looking forward to my next phone. Will wait for more confirmed detail and release to put my money on the right device.
