Kimdo BBQ [JB2022]

Located at City Square, fortunately this is another store which had survived well throughout the pandemic. Another one of my favorite store whenever I am leaving JB, I would always patronize this store. I still remembered the days when I always frequent JB and had Squid, chicken wings and BBQ tofu. Again as a tradition to break from the opening of JB-SG Borders, I am here again and everything, the food, the store layout are the same back in 2019. The homemade green chilli still mixed well with the chicken wings ! 😋

MIM Drinks [JB2022]

Apparently, there are quite a number of restrictions to buy and bring back items from Malaysia back to Singapore. Unless you can buy and consume stuffs in the country itself without bringing back. One of the reason why I am contemplating buying a small property in JB for own stay. It is a known fact that upon getting condo in JB is for sure a losing asset 😆Back to the drink topic, I felt that Nescafe can drinks are the worst. Bird's Nest and Lipton seems ok. But in Malaysia, you will never go wrong with Old Town White Coffee. All three drinks from Old Town White Coffee were great and well balanced.

Avery Day Opposite KSL City [JB2022]

Avery Day is quite nice. I think best for those who washed their car nearby while chilling here. Its a convenience store both day and night, however I saw at night, there were many people chilling for drinks at level 2. Inside the store, they had many imported food and drinks. There is also a bakery inside which seems not bad. I think having this store certainly help make the place look better and less boring. 

Sushi King @ KSL City [JB2022]

Besides the price increases, ordered some sushi to see if the previous taste were coming back, but unfortunately, my wife realized that the quality had dropped. Sushi King used to be very good before and I had many wonderful memories as Sushi King is one of the first sushi chain when I first brought and stepped into Malaysia as my used to be malaysian girlfriend introduce this sushi chain at City Square back in 2012. Come to think of it, 10 years had passed. 😭Another unfortunate encounter today was Sushi King at City Square is permanently closed. Well kinda sad, but gotta move on  😫

Each a Cup @ KSL City Mall [JB2022]

Although still there is significant amount of stores closed down, KSL City Mall is still lively with people. My Each a Cup store still survive through the pandemic. So definitely need to get my all time favourite Cranberry Apple Fruit Tea. Although they only stated a single size and priced at RM6.90, they are able to upsized to the giant 700cc size for some top up. Fortunately, the quality of the drink is there since they were given a standard formula to create the drink. 😃

Hiap Joo Bakery (Banana Cake) [JB2022]

When I was there not specifically for Hiap Joo Bakery at around 9am, but to run some errands. Hiap Joo Bakery was already queuing so many people. I think the last time i ate this was back in 2015, went over to take a look and they are taking order for the next batch at 11am, which I did not want to wait, therefore gave it a miss. Maybe next time I might give it a try if I dropped by there again. 

Restoran Hua Mui from 131 Jalan Trus, Bandar JB [JB2022]

After two years, I am finally back once again to the ultimate Hua Mui Restaurant in JB. What we ordered is the Original Hainanese Chicken Chop (RM17.90), biggest cup of Kopi Gu You (RM4.60), my appetizer Toast Double Butter Kaya (RM3.50), Nasi Lemak with Curry Chicken (RM12.90) and Iced 3 Layer Milk Kopi Cincau (RM7.30). Total damage of RM48.95 which converts to around SGD$15.45 for a sumptuous breakfast 😛Based on my personal preference, the hainanese chicken chop, nasi lemak and Kopi Gu You is definitely a MUST eat when you are there, but take note if you are going there on a weekend, it is always crowded and waiting time is very long. Of course, I went there on a weekday, hence there is no need to queue.

Banking Experience in Malaysia [JB2022]

After two years of not accessing my Malaysia Bank account, most of my ATM cards and accounts had expired and freezed due to the pandemic lockdown. Aside of reviving my UOB Bank account and renewal of my card, I went to open another account with CIMB Malaysia. With this, I am able to synchronize and perform seamless bank transfer between both my CIMB Singapore and CIMB Malaysia accounts. The ultimate advantage of this is to get exceptional RM exchange rates. However by settling both of my UOB and CIMB banking needs, it really took the entire whole day to settle it. 😓 The waiting time was really very long. Fortunately this is a one time thingy and the rest, I could follow up via KL phoneline to settle and convert my Malaysia account's OTP to Singapore handphone number.

Cold Loots from JB :) [JB2022]

Yakult in Malaysia were a lot cheaper than in Singapore. Tasted around the same as well. For Magnum, theoretically its cheaper in Malaysia, but take note that it is a lot smaller than the ones in Singapore. So if you compare size and price, Singapore still cost cheaper ONLY when there is discount. Regular price in SG, Magnum is still expensive. However, quality wise, both is the same and had the same great taste due to the fact that both Magnum in Singapore and Malaysia is produced in Malaysia. As for the Nestle Musang King Ice Cream, this is the one I would recommend anyone to try when they are in Malaysia. Hands down 9/10 in terms of Musang King quality Ice Cream !

Mentos Pure Fresh Chewing Gum [JB2022]

Actually both the Wrigley's DoubleMint were a distraction as I thought they were chewing gum as well, but was wrong because I had a quick rush to leave JB's petrol station asap to avoid the late night queue. Wrigley's DoubleMint actually is sold in Singapore :/ After trying it, was not that good anyway. But of course, after two years of not having chewing gum, the experience was good. But after having 1/4 bottles of chewing gum, i felt bored already 😂Indeed a quickie experience of shiokness.

Koi Outlet @ Paradigm Mall [JB2022]

10 minutes into closing for the day @ 10PM. We had made a quick purchase of drinks before doing last minute shopping before driving back to Singapore. At first, we really thought that it is cheap, but apparently it is not. The fact was they do not sell Large sized which we bought back in Singapore. Because I was comparing the largest size in each country. So if we compare JB's Koi Ovaltine Medium and Singapore's Medium, not much difference. Furthermore the quality is not good in JB, hope that it is only for this branch.

Dome @ Johor Premium Outlet [JB2022]

Had a late night supper at Dome Restaurant at Johor Premium Outlet close to 9.20pm. Most of the desserts, food and snacks had stopped for closure and only pasta and drinks were available. Talking about Dome, Singapore used to had it too, but unfortunately, the last branch at Parkway Parade closed at 23 June 2019. In Malaysia, they had 16 branches throughout Malaysia. I got to say the pasta were not bad and the coffee were great. May even try their other food on the menu probably at other branches and perhaps KL by end of the year if time permits. Price is quite pricey though, but unsure whether it is because this Dome is located at a tourism location.

Johor Premium Outlet [JB2022]

Last time I came here were around 2014, 2016 and 2017. Things were more or less the same for Johor Premium Outlet where we can get branded stuffs for slightly cheaper prices as compared to Singapore. Came here around 8.30pm, and I am still seeing many people walking around shopping for items. Was sincerely looking for some good wallet deals, but as a result, leave the place empty-handed. 😁At least it helped prevent my existing wallet from being lighter. But still a good place for those who really really need to buy something useful there.

Dragon-i 笼的传人 Part 1 @ Mid Valley [JB2022]

Patronized Dragon-i 笼的传人 for countless times before Covid-19 was even discovered. Dragon-i 笼的传人 used to open at many places in JB. Just at the entrance of SG-JB Customs, City Square and JBCC have one branch each. However when I visited City Square, they seems open, but aren't so many people. JBCC one was closed. Even their i-Canton restaurant was closed at City Square. This is sad because i-Canton had one of the more "OKAY" cantonese cuisine. So I visited the Dragon-i at Mid-Valley branch. Drove in straight to Mid Valley from Singapore with an empty stomach to enjoy a feast there. We had ordered quite a number of dishes for 4 Pax and special mentions were to try their Liu Sha Bao and Sichuan Mala Chicken, 辣子鸡. Both of these dishes were the best and value for money. The Liu Sha Bao here so far is the best I have ever eaten to compare with all the other Liu Sha Bao. Rest of the dishes so-so in my opinion. But when you are hungry, most of the average food ratings were elevated. 😏

Dutch Lady Chocolate and HazelNut in Can "Form" [JB2022]

Basically I got these Dutch Lady Chocolate and HazelNut Milk in Can "Form" from the petrol station in JB, not only to pump cheap Petrol, but also get some cheap deals. So we got these Milk drink from Dutch Lady for only RM1.00 for each can. Based on my exchange rate that I change my currency from there, it only costs SGD$0.30 each. My wife said is nice, however i felt that it is not so good. Somehow milk drink taste better on paper carton. 😑

AC7 Bus Service from Yishun Bus Interchange to JB is BACK ! [JB2022]

AC7 Bus Service from Yishun Bus Interchange to JB is BACK ! During the early days of JB-Singapore had been opened up and lesser people can be spotted going in to JB for causal trip other than those who worked in Singapore. I happened to take the AC7 at Yishun Bus Interchange to Johor Bahru to run my errand. Surprisingly, it was very empty and in fact, we are the only two people who board up the bus at Yishun Bus Interchange on a weekday. Along the way from Sembawang to Woodlands, only a handful of people board up the bus. Of course this was before the school holidays kicked in during June 2022. Of course today's scenario are very different as most people had already done with their passport recently and school holidays, many of them are travelling during the weekdays. Because of this, I will tag along with my brother who will drove his car in for a better experience. However the aim of this post is to share that AC7 is operationally ready and they will be increasing more buses to ensure faster and quicker experience, especially for folks staying in Yishun, Sembawang and Woodlands.

iVegan @ Thomson Plaza

So we went to eat vegetarian dishes on a vegetarian day ! So on vegetarian day, large crowds were seen at the restaurant and obviously we need to wait for about 30 minutes for our seat. We each ordered a 3-Course Set Meal at $15.90 each and overall damage is S$37.40. For myself, I ordered a Linguine Pesto, Scrambled Eggs and Americano. My wife ordered the Wok Fried Udon, Hot & Sour Soup and Osmanthus Peach Gum. Americano and Osmanthus Peach Gum is ok. I don't really like both the Hot & Sour Soup and Scrambled Eggs. For the scrambled eggs, its actually tofu, king oyster mushroom and turmeric, hence I think the flavor abit off. However, the best goes to the Linguine Pesto which i gave a 9/10, so recommended to select this as your main course. Wok Fried Udon not so bad, but have room for improvement. Nonetheless, this is vegetarian dishes, as a meat eater, think still can accept. 

Fried Carrot Cake 源记正宗菜头粿

Recently price had increased for this plate of Carrot Cake at Albert hawker centre which is located in Bugis. No choice as the price of almost everything had just went up globally. After my personal 1st place ranking - Marine Terrace Bee Bee Carrot Cake that was closed down for retirement, this fried carrot cake is my next best carrot cake. Its white carrot cake is 5/10, but his black carrot cake is ranked as 9/10 in my list. Hence I will recommend everyone to try their black carrot cake. I always ordered the largest portion which is normally for 2 portion size. Although they do not put spring onion, this simple plate of black carrot cake is heavy in taste.

Kikkoman Japan Number 1 Soy Milk

Was attracted while watching some Japanese's youtuber drinking this every single day. Thinking who could possibly drinking these every single day ?! 😒 Well, it is indeed good when I bought 4 different flavor home. Of course there are many other flavors, but i chose the Matcha, Red Tea, Coffee and Original one. Well out of these four flavors, I will think the Red Tea and Original ones are the best. Felt that many people may taste differently, do try out Red Tea or Original Soy Milk if you do not have any idea what to pick. It costs 1 for $2.50 and 2 for $4.00 and is available at Don Don Donki. I bought it from Somerset 313 Don Don Donki branch.  

Janggut Laksa @ Roxy Square

Janggut Laksa located at the back of Roxy Square. They had a slight cheaper price than Katong Laksa. However, they were using a different formula as compared with Katong Laksa and they uses more coconut milk to give another type of texture. Prawns were fresh. So I personally get the Large bowl at S$7.50 and my colleague got the medium sized at S$6.50. Based on the above comparison, not much difference except that they put in more goodies of the same ingredients. Do give it a try as it had a good taste though it looks light coloured.

Suparakki Ramen @ NorthPoint City

I had ordered one Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen (Spicy), one Supa Signature Ramen (Spicy) and One side dish of Gyoza. Price is as above. Currently they have only three branches as of this posting: North Point City, Westgate and Citylink. They have limited seating, but is quick at prepping the Ramen. For me, I felt that the soup base is great and thick enough, however i still wished that it should be more intense. Although it is a spicy selection, it is not spicy. Price is affordable if you intend to just grab a quick bowl of Ramen. My wife mentioned that the Pork Belly, not so good, but for me i think is acceptable. So far, i think I will rate it as 6/10.

Otah Box @ Northpoint City

Otah Box by Hougang Otah opened their new branch at Northpoint City Basement on 30 July 2021. Tabao two different boxes of Nasi Lemak at between $9.90 or $12. Can't remember the exact price. What we have here is Set B - Nasi Lemak with Fish Fillet and Set D - Nasi Lemak with Chicken Wings. For its price, i think is quite ok because they still had their Otah offered in each of the Nasi Lemak. I would give it a 5.5/10 for this Nasi Lemak. It is a normal box of nasi lemak.

Clash of Clan 10th Anniversary this August 2022

Talking about Clash of Clan. It was launched on 02 August 2012, so in another month plus, it will be Clash of Clan 10th Anniversary. I had played on late 2012, but went into hiatus for around 5 years in between. Just got back playing COC seriously from April 2022, of course even if i played before April 2022, I was just collect resources and does not attack much. Just contribute Clan war by attacking bases only. For now, I am raiding everyday and managed to climb from Master Rank to Titan I at last since April 2022. I am currently in Town Hall 12 when I hit Titan Ranking. Upgrading Wall is probably the most hateful thing to do, but i am aiming to start upgrading my Town Hall 12 to Town Hall 13 on COC 10th Anniversary !

Its currently available for booking of NDP 2022 Celebrations and applications are opened yesterday till 20 June 2022 12PM. Don't need to worry if you booked yesterday or tomorrow as it is on a ballot system and not based on first come first served basis. I had balloted mine for this year. Either i get it or not, doesn't matter as the last NDP i went was in 1996. So it had been 26 years not physically present for our National Day Parade 😏

Cheap Coconut for 85 cents at NTUC

NTUC always sell this type of Coconut at S$2.85. As there is a recent discount and even featured in Shin Min news, they were selling at S$0.85 each. So I bought 6 Coconuts home. However, these coconuts fresh were not that tender, but the drink is indeed refreshing and great for Hot weather, Singapore. The only issue is to cut open as there is no shortcut, but to use your own method to chop off the top part =D It is always these good deals that make purchasing very interesting.

Eating Wee Nam Kee Half Chicken @ Northpoint City

So I was eating Wee Nam Kee Half Chicken at Northpoint City just before 01 June 2022. As the Northpoint branch is in a open settings where passer-by or shoppers can see very clearly what people eat in the Wee Nam Kee branch, many people started standing beside me to look at me eating the "Fresh" half chicken. At first, it is kinda funny, but as more and more people doing the same shit. Purposely standing beside me to see me eating and talking about chicken, seriously it is starting to get very annoying. It is not as though you can't eat chicken rice. To me, got sell chicken rice, i will eat. If never sell, I eat something else. Simple as that and I think having lack of fresh chicken is just not a grave matter. So people, please don't get so hyped up on this. 😓

Diablo Immortal postponed from 02 June to 23 June for Singapore :/

The last post i posted back in February 2022, i mentioned that Diablo Immortal would be releasing on 02 June 2022. After waiting for a few days after the expected 02 June 2022 launch and rechecking both Google Play Store and Apple iOS store, nothing appearing. This is so irritating that I think i am not going to VPN to other countries just to play this game. No choice but to wait till 23 June 2022 release for the Southeast Asian market. Because of Southeast Asian territories will be getting dedicated regional game servers, I will close one eye and wait for another 19 days from now... 😕

Fujiwara Hokkaido Ramen Crab Samadhi Miso Taste

Another Hokkaido product, Fujiwara Hokkaido Ramen Crab Samadhi Miso Taste. I tried it and its not bad. It had an unique taste. Crab flavor is certainly present here, but whats a Crab Ramen without crab meat 😂 Can't remember where I bought this, but I think I got it from NTUC Finest at Thomson Plaza.

Second Visit to try Fukudon again @ Marine Parade Hawker Centre

I am back once again for lunch at Fukudon at Marine Parade Hawker Centre. You can find my first visit here. As they are still preparing more Pork Belly for all the Katsu Don, and required to wait for 30mins, I decided to try their signature, Miso Salmon Don with additional chicken katsu. Total damage for these is around SGD9. So the Miso Salmon Don they are using Norwegian Salmon Filet, Aburi Miso Sauce, Pickled Cucumber, Onsen Egg and Rice. Just the Salmon + Aburi Miso Sauce already elevate the powerful taste of this don. Definitely will be back for more. Chicken Katsu is quite normal.

Queensway Lau Tan Tutu Kueh

This store had been operating for many years in Queensway Shopping Center. I ordered the Coconut Tutu (SGD$2) for 3 pieces, Corn Cup (SGD$2.50) and Muah Chee (SGD$2.50). I will say Tutu Kueh (some call it Putu Piring or some said it is not the same) and Muah Chee is my most favorite snacks in the mid 90s till date. For sure if you want to try a good Tutu Kueh, i will recommend you to come here to try it yourself as they had many flavours. But what pondering me is the plain or kosong Tutu Kueh actually costs more at SGD$2.50 than the filled coconut ones. The white flour is very well done and best when consume when it it hot. They do not have any seats, but operate in a takeaway setting. Muah Chee is certainly good, but can be found elsewhere. Corn cup is ok and normal. 

Chamfoody Cheese Ball

Bought this Cheese Ball from a korean store at Thomson Plaza for about SGD$9.50. It is a big container. However, the smell is way too cheesy for me to accept. 😝 Think it is more of a personal preference. I guess similarly some people might be able or unable to accept as well. The taste is well, if there is a number to gauge, its probably 70% cheesy. In terms of cheese balls, I think I would prefer Planters Cheez Balls, but lately it had been quite rare to find it locally.

Bacha Coffee @ Takashimaya

Came in the afternoon and queue for around 1 hour as there is limited seats available at the Takashimaya departmental store area. As some of the items wasn't available, we ordered one pot of Royal Pistachio Coffee - SGD$10, one pot of Elephant Queen Coffee - SGD$10, one Almond Croissant and one Raspberry & Cinnamon Croissant - SGD$8. So we were given a bowl of its signature vanilla bean Chantilly cream and one caramelized sauce (cant remember). Coffee indeed have lots of different variants and most of these coffee were heavy in taste. Nice place to chill, thats why the waiting time is so LONG.

Xiao Mei Ban Mian @ 892C Woodlands Drive

Was kind of convinced by one blog review on this Xiao Mei Ban Mian located at 892C Woodlands Drive. Honest review here that it is a very normal bowl of Ban Mian. So I ordered the Pork Belly Dry You Mian, Mee Hoon Kueh, dumping soup and fried Gyoza. Total Damage is SGD$13.10. Both the soup and dry sauce is more towards the bland side. Fried Gyoza was probably better than the rest. Hence, if you are hungry, this is all right. Not as crazy as what the blogger recommended.

Limited Edition Starshine Coca-Cola Zero Sugar

Had been finding since the two days after release and finally found them in the 7-Eleven at Canberra Plaza. Got it 2 cans for SGD$3.50 which is standard kopitiam price if you drink there. Colour is abit like cherry red. Taste wise, i personally felt like sour plum in a coke. Probably that is the closest i can link the taste with. It will be out for sale for a limited time. But if you personally asked me whether I will pick this drink with my chicken wings, I will still chose Coke Light.

Tea Light Holder from Alexandra IKEA

Bought this Tea Light Holder or rather I think to call it a lamp. Creates a nice candle-like feeling to have coffee or tea during the afternoon or night. Its only SGD$6.90 and the tea candle is available at many places based on your own scent preference. Definitely it is safe, but do handle with cautious and try to put it in a safe place and avoid placing combustible items away from this.

IKEA Grono Light @ Alexandra

Bought this Grono Light for SGD$14.90. As one of my ceiling fan light got burst, not sure why, but the fan function is still working. Asked third party light shop and they did not have the necessary parts to replace the fan light. They actually advised to go back to Fan manufacturer to see if they can repair for a fee and replacement part. The thing is this fan already lasted for 5 years coming to 6th and the light no longer function. Hence I am waiting for the fan to stop functioning before I get it replaced. Meanwhile, I chanced upon a light in IKEA which is not only affordable, but is kinda bright as well. It really does the work and I shall use this for some time.

New Sheik Roti Prata Store @ 120 Canberra Crescent

Its been a while that the kopitiam near my place is back with a Roti Prata Store ! I used to support a lot for the previous Roti Prata store three years ago. It was then relocated due to the Kopitiam Landlord raised the rent. Sadly, this store had been switching hands from Thai food, from vietnam food and now after another two years later, another Roti Prata store owner had returned to this space. So I immediately went to support my first plate of Roti Prata from them. The egg prata and fish curry fortunately was good and they are open to feedback and take the feedback seriously. For example, the first batches, the fish curry were very thick. After most residents had feedbacked to him, they made the fish curry more liquid and smooth. It is good by my standard and hope more people will support him ! 

328 Katong Laksa @ Queensway Shopping Centre

Was around the area at Queensway Shopping Centre. Queensway Shopping Centre had always been a eating place for Laksa like this. Over there, you will find several Katong Laksa and of course this is one of them and it is 328 Katong Laksa. I also ate from 51 East Coast Road and the other location in East Coast since they moved to different places some time back. Not sure if there is quality control, but in the past, I remembered trying 328 Katong Laksa @ Katong, it is the best bowl of laksa, but that is one decade ago. 328 Katong Laksa certainly lose quite abit to Janggut Laksa which is also at Queensway Shopping Centre. The soup base flavor is not so thick as last time, furthermore the price also went up in today's standard. However still good enough for the average tourist to try it.

Jollibean Ice Horlicks Soy Drink @ Bugis Junction

Jollibean Ice Horlicks Soy Drink is definitely something I will recommend for Horlicks fans. I like Horlicks and I hope they could do more and introduce newer products for the younger generations. To my childhood days, Horlick had always been a luxury drink to me. So back to Jollibean, they have a few variants for this drink, but i opt for the Ice Horlicks Soy priced at SGD$3.50. Think only have one size, if not, I will generally get the biggest size possible. Do give it a try as i think this is not a permanent drink menu and more of a limited time collaboration with Horlicks.

Chic-A-Boo Chicken Specialty at Woods Square

There are a total of six Chic-A-Boo outlets in Singapore as of this time of writing. You can find them at City Square Mall, ESR BizPark @ Chai Chee, Marina Square, Sembawang Shopping Centre, SingPost Centre and Woods Square. Woods Square is probably the latest outlet at the hearts of Woodlands. If i recalled many years back at Chai Chee, Chic-A-Boo used to be more like a fast food chain and I don't think it was served with plate last time. As they listed the outlet as a Chicken Specialty, i think it is more of operating in between a fast-food and restaurant. But i doubt anyone cares about this and rather focus on the food. 😊 I like how their set meals can be customized with different main dish and different side dishes. Quite similar to Astons actually. So what i had ordered here is the 3 pcs Chicken Set with selection of Corn Niblets and Curly Fries. The portion is quite good and the chicken is not bad. Probably I give a 7/10 for this. Did you know that they have 12 different side dishes you can choose from? Do visit and try it for yourself.

2nd Visit to Huggs Coffee @ Thomson Plaza

I am back again at Huggs Coffee at Thomson Plaza. You can see my previous visit. This time, I ordered their Traditional Kopi Peng and Latte Gula. Do remember to sign up or scan your rewards QR code whenever you visit the Huggs Coffee. They had other outlets with other themes as well. For this outlet, you can utilize the 5 points to visit the VIP Lounge for a quiet experience there. Although the traditional Kopi Peng can be bought at any local kopitiam, do give it a try for their traditional kopi peng. Really a good cup of coffee. Latte Gula is good if you like Gula Melaka in your latte. They really did a good job in the latte art as well.

Seoul Kitchen near Chong Pang

Seoul Kitchen is a local family-style korean restaurant. The owner is a korean so it is korean food you can trust ! Its located at 435 Sembawang Rd, Singapore 758398. Went there to have a dinner. Price is buffet price and ala-carte menu. It is extremely affordable given with its price and its authentic Korean quality. For sure, you will be full as there is also ice-cream after a meaty meal there. It has a time limit and for those who can really eat, you will definitely be full ! They also have cooked fried chicken but its abit more to the saltier side. Its not near to the MRT, but I think is a good place to chill with tons of meat.

Joyful Seafood at Canberra Crescent

Joyful Seafood have a few branches opened across Singapore. Located in a kopitiam, usually people don't really remember the name of the shop but classified these stores as "Zi Char" store. As they had a Fish Head Set and also a crab set. I chose to go for the Fish Head Set for $58 for two pax. After trying it, i think this set is enough for 2 to 3 people. I like how they provide multiple selection for choices for people to choose for their set. For a set that is $58 only, I'm not going to expect much of the ingredients as well. First thing first, the Fish Head Steamboat have not much meat as it is fish head, but soup and vegetables is plentiful in the broth. The broth is ok and good to go with rice. The fried egg is ok, have a little bit of wok hei that goes with your rice. Sweet and Sour Pork is all right too, feel that the meat portion is good. Chilli Kang Kong unfortunately need some work as some stems were not cooked well and the flavor not fully infuse with the dish. Prawn is surprisingly BIG and have lots of meat, again, wished that sauce is more heavy in the flavoring. Overall, it is a decent meal and definitely filled up your stomach. Will suggest to go for Curry Fish as the fish head steamboat's fish meat really too little.

Likely decided to place my bet on Norton 360 Premium

My Kaspersky Internet Security is expiring exactly in 29 days time. As the title goes, I will likely place my bet on Norton 360 Premium as part of my cybersecurity protection for my main PC that is largely used for financial transactions, accessing bank accounts and important data storage. The rest of my other devices are for staging and general purposes, hence a simple Windows Defender will be sufficient. Weighing all the other Internet Security softwares, I think Norton will be quite good and I felt that my hardware will be able to handle multiple security tasks as well as not to affect my computing performance. For now, I will be focusing on migrating Kaspersky Internet Security to Norton 360 Premium in probably two weeks time. Decided to get one corporate license for three years of protection and probably provide a general overview once i fully migrate to the new software.

KOI The at Tang Plaza

On a hot and humid day, we decided to sit down at Koi The, a bubble tea chain in Singapore. There is island bar seat, so we order Iced Ovaltine with Ice-Cream. Suggest to request for less ice, as we got too much ice in it. Usually when we order via the machine, we will tend to put in less ice. But since we ordered too fast over the counter, too bad lor. In my opinion, Koi had the best ovaltine based drink as compared to others. Mixed together with their ice-cream will be the perfect combination. It became the Mr Coconut shake except that this is Ovaltine shake. Good place to relax and enjoy your drink there but the seat is limited.

海南美味佳肴 Hainanese Delicacy at Far East Plaza

Ordered the Half Chicken (Roasted) with two plate of rices and drinks. When there is chicken rice recommendation, someone always mentioned about this. The place is always crowded with diners especially weekends. Usually you will have to queue for awhile and they will match you with other diners to dine at the same table. While queuing, they will take your order and prepare the food in advance. So when it is your turn to be seated, they will serve your order in no time. To me, thats a pro, but it can be a con as well depends on the situation. Rice and soup were quite ok, however both the chicken and sauce doesn't really taste the way we expect. Of course, it really depends on each individual's preference. But for myself, i will give the overall score of 6/10. Do try it and comment below. 

llaoglass By llaollao @ Bugis Junction

Used to like llaollao before when its closed massively previously and now slowly opening more and more branches back. Anyway, my wife had been hunting for this llaoglass for a few months and they were always out of stock in many branches. Actually this is just llaollao's frozen yogurt with two toppings. The only exception was that you get to bring the unique llaollao glass pot home. Well thats it. 😅 Personally I like its frozen yogurt with M&M and White Chocolate. I think this is the best combination.

Caramel Corn - One of the best snacks in Japan

Apparently, this japanese snack is really popular in Singapore. Most people get this from Daiso at $2. But ever since Daiso raised its price for all their items, getting bulk of these snacks will cost a higher price than before. However, not to worry. You can still get this same snack from Don Don Donki at $2 ! The smaller packet one does not have peanuts, but this bigger packet have peanuts. However the peanuts were not so nice. The caramel corn itself is the main highlight. I like the corn texture and crunch. Sweetness is just right. Just the right snack to munch, sit back on the sofa and watch Killer's game. 😋

Koka Purple Wheat Noodles - Aglio Olio Flavor

One of healthier choice of instant noodles whenever I need to make a quick meal. Aglio Olio Flavor is one of the better choice for my Koka Purple Wheat Noodles. Add additional egg, ham slices or sausage will be a much fulfilling meal. So what is Aglio Olio? Aglio Olio is actually spaghetti with garlic and oil. So i recommend this as it is easy to cook. Just boil the noodles, all your seasoning on a empty bowl. Drain the water and place the noodle into the bowl and stir it. In fact, 3 minutes is all you need. It taste good despite being healthy.
