Redmi Buds 3 Pro

Redmi Buds 3 Pro is using most of its cutting edge tech during its launch. However, i bought it as a spare so that I can listen and shut off the noise away from the crowd during commuting. Of course as compared to the Apple AirPod Pro 2nd Gen, it loses out in loudness and ANC. But due to its price range, it sure deserve the title of being the best budget sound buds ! Bought it from Shopee from its limited Flash Deals at $45.

Wet Wipes safe for wiping all lenses

Bought at $5.50 per box. One box contains about 100 small wipes and i really mean it is small. When opened out, the wipes are abit twice the size of those screen protector wipes. So far, i tested it is able to wipe off glasses well especially the fingerprints, dust and oil. Recommended !

Quickie Meal @ Sushi Tei Thomson Plaza

Was running some errand at Thomson Plaza, so went to have a quick lunch at Sushi Tei here. It is big and even during a weekday, the restaurant is dealing with almost full house of diners. As usual, a hot soup with its rich japanese ingredients were great ! Needless to say, all the ingredients were of good quality. Easily still one of the best restaurant in Singapore ! Membership coming to an end 😪

Apple says this. Well they are not the only ones. Despite how they say, it is still scratchable. Once your device is scratched, there goes the value when selling to a second hand dealer. Thats why no matter how good they say, you will still require a case. Unless you have applecare or you are simply rich 😅

I no longer need to bring multiple chargers for my laptop, M2 iPad Pro, Z Fold 4 and S23 Ultra. I just had to bring out my uGreen GaN 100W charger with 3 100W charging cables. All the modern chargers be it Lenovo, Samsung or Apple are using Type C ports. This allow me to charge anywhere at anytime with this universal GaN charger. No more multiple or bulk charging block anymore, also the reason why Samsung and Apple stop providing Charging brick for most of their devices today !

Still eating Mcdonald frequently

Although i am still having Mcdonald for Breakfast and Lunch, i am really cutting down on fries. Double Spicy still, but having 0% sugar Iced Latte, and Corn. Hopefully, this is not as damaging, but of course also cut down on lunch. Next, i will focus on adjusting my breakfast routine.

Nice centralized place, although we had one outlet at Bugis Junction as well. Got their Traditional Kaya Toast with a small cup of coffee at $3. Well, it is still all right for a good afternoon break among all the stress. Coffee and bread is good, but discount gotta last only a few days after opening.

They was one of the pioneer branch at Canberra Plaza when it opened. Had tried a few times over these few years and they were quite costly actually. Drink wise, i felt is normal and not that fantastic, but it is a good place to chill though.

However at this stage, it is only consideration. If it went through, then it could be matter of years to come !

Tabao home Sushi Express Go from Causeway Point with tons of Sushi on my own. 😄 Quality still above average at 6/10, but is still cost effective as compared to more other atas sushi chain. Just make your own hot cup of green tea and it will be a perfect meal ! Despite how busy you are, it will be good if you can sit down for a meal like this  😄

As i was using a 100W display cable to check every watts going into my devices, it is going at the device's max watts charge. Saw at NTUC selling SPAM Luncheon Meat at $4.65 is considered very cheap already as the average price is normally $5.65, but original price is at $6.31. This is truly one of the best Luncheon Meat in the world in my personal opinion so i will definitely recommend for all to try. Of course try not to eat this everyday. After all it is processed food and the sodium level is extremely high for this can.

 

One of the worst Klang Claypot Herbal Bak Kut Teh

One of the worst Bak Kut Teh i had ever tried. Spent more than $20+ for this as shown in my pic above. Soup was 0/10 and Meat used was 0/10. Really very fed up with the quality for its price. Wasted my $$$ and had to spend more money to fill my stomach after. Sigh ! 

[Clash of Clan] Begin construction to Level 14 Town Hall !

As a F2P player of Clash of Clan for almost a decade, i am really impressed that this game is still going Strong ! I am currently active in my ex classmate's clan. Finally it is time where i had upgraded all buildings in Town Hall 13 and moving towards Town Hall 14. That means my Heroes' Pets are unlocked and game are getting even harder to grind, attack and defense. 2 whole weeks for this upgrade and i really look forward to max out my resources prior to the new upgrade !

My Samsung Fold 4 is finally fixed !

Finally my Z fold 4 is finally fixed on 4th June 2023 after encountering downtime since 30th May 2023. Really went through shit times still i need to buy another Samsung S23 Ultra which is the second best phone apart from my Z Fold 4. I really enjoyed using Fold 4 and got to know from Samsung Technician that this is a common issue. 😒 However long story short, this episode had gone to an end since Samsung had replaced a brand new inner and outer screen, brand new battery and hinge, which i am happy enough. Time to move on now using both Z Fold 4 and S23 Ultra.

With price and expenses undoubtedly going upwards, products are also becoming more and more expensive. I had no choice now, but to resort to the lowest cost items not all, but some are indeed low price. So i had to wait for vouchers + promotion + house brand like FairPrice to purchase them in bulk. Tissue, tissues and wipes are items to be used daily and dispose. At least Fairprice quality still not bad and price is still ok to tank. 😏

10Gbps Home Internet from Starhub !

Starhub is releasing 10Gbps Home Internet connection. I had just renewed my Starhub Broadband for 1 + 1 Gbps fiber connection for another 2 years contract. So all in all, i will be having two Router which I will be able to set up as Mesh throughout my home. To be honest, it is really hard to utilize 10Gbps for home or really see the benefit in doing so. So don't see the need to be paying $119.90 every month for this. Instead Starhub is currently running a promotion of providing a 55 inch TV, Nintendo Switch OLED, Gaming Monitors or Xiaomi latest Robot vaccum. I let my wife choose for the freebie.

Urgent Replacement Phone to prevent downtime

Oh well, my Samsung Z fold 4 is encountering Black Screen of Death and according to Samsung Service Center, it is a hardware issue as inspected. Only thing is Service Center require me to delete all data before giving them the device to fix it for days. I couldn't afford the downtime without phone for my work. Since I'm a Samsung Care+ customer, i am entitled to premium on-site repair service. Unfortunately they mentioned that office address cannot be one of the address and must be repair from home address. 😒 After my first initial report, they said that they need 24 hours for the onsite engineer to contact me to get an appointment. I can't imagine the downtime and there is no confirmation date and time of the replacement that Samsung can provide. To this stage, i am really disappointed with what Samsung Care+ had promised but cannot fulfil. Hence i immediately purchased another Samsung S23 Ultra which was released 3 months ago and still relatively up to date in terms of software and specs. Migrate everything and wait for Samsung to call me to arrange for repair. Not going to sign up for Samsung Care+ ever again !

New Mcdonald Coconut Ice Cream !

Tried on the very first day of launch and subsequent days, seems that the coconut ice cream isn't as bad as what most comments said that doesn't taste like coconut. What most people said that it is more heavy in vanilla taste than coconut. But what would you expect for these price? Cannot really compare apple to orange with Mr Coconut lah. So all in all, i think for a limited time only, this is worth trying or one to be enjoyed with. 😁

Now those who sells Netflix accounts to share with other people gotta get shut down. Better off for people to sign up their own lah based on my gut feel. Ringgit dropped to the lowest !

As the article go, Ringgit had dropped to the lowest, both Malaysian (who worked in SG) and Singaporeans are very happy. Because we can spend more on goods, petrol and services. 😆 As for myself, i had managed to change at SGD1000 for RM3420 for a short period of time when it hit the tip via my CIMB SG bank account to CIMB MY bank account.. Boosting my savings in Malaysia further and probably enough for a holiday house downpayment soon. 😊

Brand New M2 iPad Pro 12.9 inch !!!

I went for the specs which would last me for at least 4 to 5 years usage. At this point of time, Apple is retailing at $2401.20 for the model i get. However, i'm not that dumb to get at this full ON price lah. Got it from RedWhiteMobile for $1890 and after selling off my iPhone 13 Pro Max 256GB at $1100. I am paying cash of $790 for this unit. It takes me 1 week to make this decision and watching tons of reviews and thought process. This is not only a tablet, but also a laptop replacement since the market trend of apps all going online and to the cloud. It doesn't matter much if whether only a laptop can handle that task. With this M2 processor, it is really impressive after using for nearly a week. Tested VPN and accessing web applications, all work extremely well as well for office applications. Price value of apple is also a main concern as apple products still remain a ridiculous amount of value even after several years. Unlike the Lenovo ThinkPad X13 which i bought somewhere in 2019 from $1500 and value had dropped to almost $300 at this point of time. The next WWDC 2023 will be big and massive improvement in terms of software and application will boost the productivity of this device. I will share more along the way !

ROG had released their even better and powerful Power Supply for Desktop PC. Aesthetic wise, they are really top notch. Of course their performance is top of the line too. I also love the fact that they are having RGB. My very own power supply have RGB too, but unfortunately, my case is not able to showcase my power supply. 😮‍💨 So, typically just get one good one without the aesthetic will do the job.

Despite dealing with them for many years, this time is the fastest and most pleasant experience with Red White Mobile. Did my trade in of my iPhone 13 Pro Max 256GB for a good value, $1100. Of course, it is time again to get the latest Stuff to accompany me for a good 5 years. Let's hope i will utilize well on my new device after finishing work at 1AM !

Campbells Mushroom Soup increases price again. This time is $1.90 per can and still can set expectation it is lowest price. 😮‍💨 If this year is so bad, can't imagine next year which confirmed to be worst. Salary Low, but expenses all goes up so fast. Still one of my favourite mushroom soup.

Laptop Stand From Orico

Got this Orico Laptop Stand from Shopee online store locally at around $9.30. Tested and works great for my working laptop. Probably works for most laptops between 12 to 16 inches and i guess tablets and iPads too. Got this mainly because i wanted to elevate my laptop to save space and also have good viewing angle since i am also using another monitor for my work. Before this, i was using a headphone box just to elevate the height placement of my laptop, but screen is still position quite far away from myself. Although it is not using metal, it still looks sturdy and affordable. Recommend this !

Stewed Pork Chops From Narcissus Brand

Had been having this for about 30 years now. This brand had been in the market for one of the longest time and still maintained its quality. Only price had been increasing which is unavoidable. Best for eating with white rice as the gravy and fats will melt in your mouth. Recommended for people who wants to try. At the moment, it is around $5.95 on a promotion.

Snow Coconut Made in Malaysia

This current Snowball Coconut which i had bought from the local supermarket for $5.85, isn't as good as the ones made in Korea. Last year due to covid positive, i bought the korean made ones in our local supermarket. Those were very good ! It helped healed up my covid process a lot faster. Unfortunately, they wasn't sold in our local supermarket for a while. Not sure why, but the malaysia made ones are now selling in store. For the same price, this doesn't taste very good. I do hope NTUC can take back the korean stock.

Japanese Lemon Coca Cola

Bought this at the local 7 Eleven for $2.50. I think they ever had the local lemon flavor before, but was gone after a while. But for this imported Japanese Coca Cola, i think it really contain real 1% Lemon juice. It is sweet [but zero sugar] and can feel the lemon acid. Really refreshing and taste good. Unfortunately it is only available in this small bottle only.

[Clash of Clan] 5 more last upgrade and onward to Town Hall 14 !

Last year, i predicted and manage the timeline of upgrading everything before upgrading to Town Hall 14 by 9 August 2023. Looks like i am gonna complete all my upgrades by June 2023. Then while maxmizing all my resources while completing upgrade of Town Hall 14 by early July 2023. I am one month earlier than expected. After which, it might take probably 1 to 2 years time before upgrading to Town Hall 15. Looking forward to the new journey of Town Hall 14 and the unlock of Heroes' Pet System.

McDonald Limited Time Price for my daily morning fix

It is sad how price had increased faster than what our salary can 'play' catch up. It was once used to be a regular price at $5.30. But now the regular price is $5.95 per SME. Finally after so many months of my builder base which i had already maxed out all buildings and units, some changes are happening. It is not much, but it is a good start. Hope Supercell can implement more newer gameplay and special building to make it even more challenging. Based on this banners, its probably more on the attacks and make it harder.

Very Hot Weather !!

Another way to overcome this hot weather especially on a lazy afternoon is to stock up bubble tea, earl grey milk tea and soft drinks. Of course not to forget about my own filtered water dispenser at home to hydrate our body to restore water level. Let's hope this crazy weather will not prolong for so long, else i will have to hide in the shopping malls already as well !

So far, grab delivery for Wingstop is quite ok for a weekday. There seems to be a 50% off Grab Megasale Bundle at $20 instead of $40. So i added another ala carte order of 6 more classic wings with another two different flavours. Think Louisiana Rub is out for me. Garlic Parmesan is ok and so far teriyaki and Kecap Manis are the better ones. For grab orders, usually are very expensive, just need to look out, i am sure there are good deals as well !

Toast Box Mee Siam Set @ Somerset 313

This is the conversational set that was created by Toast Box which cause many people thinking that it increased its price significantly. However, they of course increase the price due to food cost increase, but they added the cake to the set as well. It cost me $9.70 at this point of writing and indeed, it is expensive, but no one force anyone to order it though. Mee Siam portion were very small, but coffee is still great. Cake abit overrated. 😅

Hard Rock Cafe @ Sentosa Singapore is gone for good

They cease operation on 07 May 2023 and it is really sad. Although they still had other branch in Singapore like in Orchard Road, this is more of a better location especially where tourists can come down here easily. Was planning to come down here sometime soon, but unfortunately too late. Went to Hard Rock Cafe at Orchard for some 30 years ago, this sentosa one is a little newer one. Oh well.

Happy Mothers' Day to All ! All mothers deserved the love today because they work almost everyday for their children to grow up happily. 😀 Being a mother is hard work, especially taking care of babies and worry about them being teenagers. I believed all mothers sacrifice lots of sleep and sleep.
